$340 6:30 PM - 9PM Thursday 13th of February - Thursday 10th of April 2024 MAUNGA VIEW is a 9-lesson art class where you will learn to paint a gridded background, clouds, harakeke (flax & flax flowers) and a mountain. Then you’ll design and complete your own unique painting . I teach step by step, so you’ll never be thrown in the deep end ! I focus on SKILL BUILDING and on having fun! Everyone’s final painting can be different, but if you want to follow my ‘plan’ you can stick to that if you choose. Even if you’ve never painted before, you will be able to manage this painting. My goal is for you to succeed! I never leave people stranded, so if you get into a pickle... I’m there to help. Just wear old clothes and be ready for a fun time! What You Will Learn: - Learn which brushes | sponge’s | paints | inks | stencils | art pens | stamps to use. - Learn how to blend inks and paints using art gel, sponges, brushes etc… - Use acrylics, METALLIC PAINTS, inks, pencils and pens and for THIS class… TEXTURE PRODUCTS - Design your painting using the COLOURS OF YOUR CHOICE. - Paint your masterpiece over five classes after you have learnt new techniques in the beginning classes. - What's Included? Your own Art Kit that you can take away with you including brushes, a clear file and a lidded paint palette - In-class paints , inks, heavy duty paper, gels, sponges, pencils, templates, pastels and crayons. - Step-by-step instruction sheets to use in class. - You will need to provide your own final canvas if you want to paint on one. - Class Size: - Up to 12 students.
