9:00 AM - 16:00 PM Chromatic Silhouettes is a one day workshop where you will be taught how to paint stylised silhouetted plants and more. After practising these techniques using stamping, scraping and printing to create your backgrounds, you will design your own composition and paint your very own canvas. This class would be a great place for absolute beginners to start. Just wear old clothes, bring a packed lunch, and be ready for a fun time! What You Will Learn: * Learn which brushes /sponges /paints/ inks/ stencils/ art pens /stamps to use. * Learn how to blend inks and paints using art gel, sponges, brushes etc. * Practice painting chromatic silhouettes in a few different ways. * Practice painting backgrounds. * Plan your own composition. The colours, layout etc are up to you. * Paint your masterpiece Whats Included: * All materials are supplied, including canvas. * Paints, inks, heavy duty paper, gels, sponges, pencils, templates, pastels and crayons. * Step-by-step instruction sheet to use in class. Class Size: * Up to 15 students. If there are more students, I have an experienced painting assistant at-the-ready. Where Are Classes Held? * 49 Huatoki Street , New Plymouth Please park on the road. Go round the back of the house/enter through ranch sliders. If you have mobility issues there is a ramp and you can enter through that door. Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATIONS ? If you’ve booked into a class, I can only offer refunds if you cancel 14 days ( or more) before the class start date. That’s because most students book well in advance, and last minute bookings are not the norm. REFUNDS ? Sorry. I am unable to give refunds for classes missed. You are welcome to send a friend to take your place if you have to miss a class. SWAPS ? In general, if you are booked into a particular class, you won’t be able to swap into another one. In exceptional circumstances, please contact me , and I might be able to find a space in a different class. There are no guarantees, however. If the other classes are full…I can’t oversubscribed them.
