Service Description
Tropicana is a 9 x 2.5 hour painting course where you’ll learn to paint a lush range of tropical plants and flowers. We’ll use acrylic paints, inks, pencils, mediums, and metallic paints. I teach step by step, so you’ll NEVER be thrown in the deep end without a lifesaving device! This course suits both beginners and intermediates. I’ll start you off with manageable techniques... then build your skills as we go. Over the first four weeks, you’ll practise painting tropical plants and flowers. I’ll guide you through painting Monstera leaves, Birds of Paradise, vines, and more. For the final five weeks, you’ll design and paint your own unique work of art—with me right there if you get stuck! If you’re in the “I can’t draw” camp... never fear! I’ve got a raft of techniques to get you over that line. Promise! Beginners are WELCOME and improvers will be ‘extended’. I never leave people stranded. If you get into a pickle... it takes me ten seconds to morph into a Rescue Remedy Art Ambulance. Just wear old clothes and be ready for a fun, relaxed time! What You’ll Learn: Which brushes, sponges, paints, inks, stencils, art pens and stamps to use How to blend inks and paints using painting gel, sponges, and brushes Four different approaches to painting tropical plants How to design your own Tropicana painting (at your own level) How to paint your masterpiece over five guided sessions What’s Supplied?
